Call from Ducati in Italy ?

Hi guy's, just a quick message to see if anyone else has had a call from Ducati in Italy thanking me for buying another ducati and just checking all my details on their system are correct. The guy definately had a italian accent. I did not volunteer any other information than they had as I was not sure if this was cosha.

Just wondering if anyone else has had a call or should I make sure the bullterriers sleep by the bike ? AC:confused:
 
Everything ok. Got my call 2 month ago and my panigale is still here. :) You will get a letter with some service information and a thank you. They just want to be sure to send it to the right person.
 
Thanks vO2, just thought it was a bit odd, I was thinking I might need to keep the dogs and my baseball bat handy. I had my 998s nicked in broad daylight 5 years ago, they just ripped the garage doors off when I was at work, smashed the chains and buggered off with it. All my neighbours were in and didn't see a thing. So I was a bit suspicious of this call.

Congrats on new bike Giz! Yes they do this to all who bought 1199 this year which is nice I suppose. I see your fairly new here.. If there is something you have any question about use the "search" link and type in any key word, and you will see all other threads on the subject. Great to have ya on man! :eek:

Thanks Gunny, I havn't had a chance to get on a track day yet but that's my next prority. Guess you are still in the mob over the pond ? ex marine over here. like checking out what everyones been doing to their 1199's. AC
