Has anyone received a call from Ducati in Italy recently? I was writing a post in this forum just now and they called me on my cell they just wanted a confirmation of my email address and mailing address they already had on file. He read off the model and serial number of my bike (hell I don't even know the serial number) but it was weird he spoke with a heavy Italian accent. I hope it wasn't the Italian mob looking for me :(

no, not recently, just ~2 weeks after the purchase... also an italian, calling from italy, with an italian accent, about this italian motorcycle :D ;)

I sent an email via the Ducati website which prompted a call to my cell phone. I got another one a couple of weeks ago letting me know the progress. Both calls were from the same Italian female.
Top notch service in my books. I work for a manufacturer in the product support division and I was impressed.

Yeah, got a call a few weeks after I picked it up, if I remember just to confirm a few details and welcome me. Made it feel sort of personal, very nice touch..:)

I received two of them - same deal. Verifying contact info and a few details and congrats on purchase, etc.

I never got a call either and still havent received my Ducati card and its been over a month.

They called me yesterday confirming my info and thanking me for buying the pani. Pretty nice, although at first I thought it was a scam and wouldn't give him any info. Also said they were sending out my card, but I actually received it a couple weeks ago.

Then he said don't tell anyone else that I called because we're not going to call any of the Asian customers.

You guys must be questionable individuals.....all of us straight up guys never heard from them :D:D:D:D

Do you guys even HAVE phones up there yet? Italy -> Canada is a long flight for a pigeon...

Actually we all have clubs to beat some fallen tree trunk...and then there are the trusted smoke signals emitted by firing up a Pani. ;)

And all of us learned how to spell "pigeon"

Yes, I received a lengthy call from Bologna, Italy yesterday in regards to some survey questions I answered previously. He wanted to know why I was dissatisfied with a couple of items (exhaust heat, seat cover material), and asked many questions related to engine power. He was extremely nice, listened well, and informed me that all Pani owners will be receiving - free of charge - a kit to address the heat situation. He could not tell me exactly what was to be included, but said it will be coming shortly directly to us, not through the dealers.

same thing here, I emailed them and they called my Cell phone within a few days
