And that Tri probably had no MWR race filter , RapidBike/ Tuneboy and definitely no Akra system..

Somehow those antler mirrors don't bother me half as much when the bike is being ridden like that..

That wouldn't be a fair comparison. At that point you would need to pit a GT3 MP4 against a STK 1000 Panigale R. Depending on the track the aero advantages of the race car would be what makes the difference in the car beating the bike.

Sorry, you are correct. The GT3 would be equivalent to Panigale RS. There are the HS bespoke version of MP4-12 though to match our bespoke Panigale R.

I'm by no means an amazing rider. With approx. 12-14 trackdays in intermediate group experience I'm sure I couldn't match that pace but, is is just me or did he look like he really wasn't pushing that bike nearly to it's limits?

ALSO, in one of these comparison's it'd be great to lead a car in that caliber and a bike in that caliber BOTH to be on a set of control track/slick tire to see/compare the results...
