Just wondering who else keeps dropping by the dealer and adding carbon! A, getting totally addicted. So far have the rear mudguard (front came with S ABS), the heel guards, shock absorber cover and the ignition switch cover. Have to say the ignition switch cover looks really cool and you see it as you ride!

Dealer showed me the new carbon Arai Ducati helmet in a catalog today, even I reckon that is too far (and at $4000 just a bit pricey!)

What have you all done so far?

Strange this time. I have spent so much money on Carbon for my hayabusa and Diavel but on this bike, I hate to say it is almost perfect. I am not even in a rush for an exhaust.

I totally agree with you.....Exotic vehicles never need anything really......but to each his own.

interesting. I used to ride a yamaha and pretty much didn't touch it. love the panigale so much i just like adding!

I have no crave for carbon part, just save money so I can get the newest bike when it come out... 1199R anyone?

I had no intention of getting anything carbon when I ordered the bike, however it is easier to say the only carbon items I don't have is wheels! I have phoned the dealer at least 4 times and ordered extra carbon items to be put on "Eva". Wife has baby girl on the 15th and I pick up Eva 2 weeks later! Feels like a life time of waiting!

Gnome

I only went nuts on one bike I owned it was a 1999 996S, I threw a boatload of money at it, carbon like mad, mag marchesinis, etc etc.

Never will do that again

Lol

I take it you never took part in my poll here? I am a carbon junkie and did you know they are making an Arai without the Ducati stripe for ALOT less? Even Bell has an all carbon nice looking helmet I can get a sweet deal on!
And with or without ya, my carbon MUST be the wet, glossy, dark mirror look instead of nasty matte finish! LOL (inside joke) :D

I bought one of these full carbon helmets $500 It's the Nexx 1R carbon. Only lighter helmet out there is the shark.

didn't see the poll - will go look

just got back from a ride and still smiling at how cool the carbon looks round the ignition

Hmmm .. that is highly ironic. I have a Yamaha R1 (still ride it) and I left it completely stock. With the Panigale Tricolore I have ALL the DP parts and carbon on the bike .. except the Air Conveyors and Ducati states end of Oct 2012 for them. So, in a sense I can totally relate.

I asked Ducati Performance to focus on the mirrors and indicators.

I tend to throw money at suspension bits and care little for purely aesthetic appliances. Race quality hangers are on the way!

So I'm not into carbon bits but that is a whole other world. Would it be a poser to add it to a bike that is not a tri?

I think it would look great on the red S. The Tri has much more white and this is just an accent with the carbon being the real show stopper. I would consider those panels, but I'm not dropping 5G's on them

Fever.....yep

The ingnition cover is next. Did you find the carbon heel guard on the right side sits out further than the stock part?
