Carbon Fever - How bad do you have it?

Why would you give a rats ass what anyone else thought? Seeing the bits are carbon I would argue your S would be better than a Tri. Call it a Tri-SS lol

I tell you I did not find the tri worth the extra as I don't like Termis at all. But can understand those who did that is fine.
However I am in love with the carbon tri. I would spend the money even if I have to order a part at a time.
That said I would have to see if I can get it without the tri writting on the tail. I would not want it to say something it's not.
knew a guy who has a 69 ss Camero and put z/28 badges, don't want to be that guy lol but this may be different.
ANYWAY love what they are offering!

While I have a pretty well decked out TRI and I prefer the white element of the TRI and as such will not be changing the TRI body element, in my personal opinion I believe there is nothing wrong with taking an S and throwing on this lovely carbon TRI body work. I do not believe there are any kind of hard and fast rules knocking around, I personally feel it is really each to their own and there are many decent styles and tastes.

Back when I had my Corvette and involved in that scene, guys would get a base vette and put the wide body kit on it with Z06 calipers and wheels. Fine but then they would put the Z06 badges on it. That's some poser .... there. Funny thing is GM figure out people were doing it and grated the Grand Sport to accommodate them.

There is a guy on here that purchased all tri bodywork for his base from Ducati......saved like 8 grand haha

A 'Tri' is just a paint job, hardly like you are pretending its an R model or something

As I wait for about 2k worth of carbon from my friends at Motowheels and Bellissimoto I wonder if ANYONE out there has hands on any of the CDT Carbon for a review? I've been told they are more consistent than the Carbonvani which may require a little Dremel work for fitment?

All DP stuff off for glossy clear coating and some neat effects under it with ghost images of text and hand painted logos. Wait until you all see the paint job coming from one of the members here from the same pro doing my clear work on carbon! :D

Looking forward to seeing it. Sounds very trick.

I think it would look great on the red S. The Tri has much more white and this is just an accent with the carbon being the real show stopper. I would consider those panels, but I'm not dropping 5G's on them

Badass x1000 but 5G is insane. 2K sounds way more reasonable. No way would I drop 5G's.

The way I see it people pay 4k for an exhaust system that is average at best. Whats 5k for this amazing set of skins? I contacted them to see if they can do it without the tricoloure writing, than I'm all in.

I love adding carbon so much that it costs more than my bike. However I learned my lesson and that when my Panigale arrives. I will pretty much keep the carbon parts to basic accesories like some key guard, mudguard, key guard. etc
