I have the matte shift tech in my 1299 anni hat to trim/sand around the tails light bracket to get it to fit properly tho. other than that I love it!!

Couldn't one just get the 1299 SL carbon subframe? Wouldn't that fit with the plastics?

Sure. If I wanted to spend $6k-$7k for a subframe. The Fullsix is a third of the price.

I went the DBHolders on my 1199 and moved it to my 899 it weighs about 900 grams so might be an option for weight reduction.

Well, nothing regarding this bike is cheap. I agree that the Fullsix prob is the next best option, but personally I like to have the storage space and the removable cowl. Also I think it looks better standard with the plastic tail than with the fullsix, since it sort of melts together to one piece.
