Mmmh, job and a half

- Took 1hr of stripping, expected.

- 2hrs of refinishing the carbon fiber, since the mounting clips were way off. Granted, its a super complex part to mould, but I expected something a little closer to being installable and ready to go

- 1hr to mount the damn piece onto the brake light assembly

- 1/2hr for cleaning all the body panels, since they were off :p

- 1hr to rebuild

Fook

Pics.....

Thought this was overkill strip down, its just 8-clips, 4 of which you can easily see and touch. Noooooo:confused:

So, more parts come off.....

Well done. Matches the DP tail tidy very well. Did you get the CF air vents ? I found the under tray easy to install, however the air vents were a little tricky. Worth it though.

No vents yet, but they would have been pretty simple, as I had everything out and off to wiggle the tray on.

All good fun though :)

Settings are set into Sport mode, so I'll flick between these and what I run in Race mode this weekend.

Stupid hot so difficult to ride after 8am

Sounds good. You should be able to see an immediate difference, as long as you did both front and rear preload

Luckily I had the assistance of two other forum members when installing this piece XBox. You are right of it being a bitch while trying to align and connect all the tiny tabs and crap while holding the tray up into place! :)

That's a shame. I'm glad my CDT was a direct replacement with no bending, filling, dremelling, lubricating or bashing to install. Just slipped right on.

nice job Xbox and thank you for posting the pics.

How does the CDT match with DP Carbon ?

My under seat tail tray is CDT (satin) you can find photos of it with the DP Carbon tail tidy in my member gallery. While CDT is a close to DP carbon, Carbonvanni is the closest out of the two.
