Hi guys,
Had these installed and this was final product. They are from ilmberger. Does it look correct, meaning silver still showing like it does? Everything was installed per instructions. I just thought it would cover more? Thoughts?

I sell both Ilmberger and Full Six. As much as I love selling Ilmberger first because the fitment is better and needs little or no work to install sometime. While Full Six makes a quality carbon fiber. Full Six makes a better looking subframe cover Ilmberger. From what I see you installed it correctly. But either Ilmberger got the wrong measurements or when tthe mold for these subframe covers they made them wrong (I am not a carbon fiber manufacturing expert so I may have wrote mold but it may be a different process to make carbon fiber pieces). I sold 4 pairs of the Ilmberger ones and they all look like yours. I actually do a lot of R&D on Ilmberger parts we get something that we do the install on and if the measurement is off or it needs to be widened or shaved off a bit or the install holes drilled slightly in a different direction. I give Ilmberger all the correct measurements and they change it. For example when we installed their belly pan on a BMW S1000RR that we also installed a Austin Racing low slung cat delete exhaust. The Austin Racing exhaust can was bigger than what the belly pan cut out was made for. So we widened the hole. Gave Ilmberger pics and measurements and they changed the belly pan. And even with smaller exhaust cans you couldnt tell the cut out was bigger. Same belly pan had a burn mark showing on the lower right side because the Austin racing cat delete pipes were thicker than others and were to close to the belly pan. Which didnt allow the shields that Ilmberger put on work. So they had to put thicker ones on. Thats just one example. But so far I havent had anyone local with a V4 order these from me. So I havent been able to measure properly. I have sold a lot of the Full Six ones though.

The only reason I even started pushing the Full Six subframe covers over the Ilmberger ones is because the Full Six version covers the entire section of the subframe (although the carbon weaves between the Ilmberger and Full Six do look different. But no one will really notice if you decided to add lots of Ilmberger carbon fiber on your bike. All my carbon fiber is Ilmberger on Duc with the exception of the subframe covers). Here is a link to Oppracings site and you will see what I am talking about regarding the shape. And they fit spot on just like the Ducati carbon fiber ones. Huh, could have sworn they sold both Fullsix and in-house produced ones, but I'm not seeing the latter on their website anymore. Has been a while, maybe I was mistaken.
I thought you were talking about the present thats why I wrote they sell Full Six. But you are right. They used to sell their own Shift Tech line of carbon fiber parts. Im not sure when they stopped their own line of carbon fiber. However I havent seen it for the last two years.

Those cover aren’t right, that looks horrible! I would be on the phone ASAP to get my money back or new covers. No way would I ride a bike that looks like some China crap was put on it. Get on that phone!!

I had Ilmberger on my Pani V4 and had no silver showing at all. Those aren't right imo
