My weekend project was to solve a problem maybe some bling loving guys already encountered: there is no carbon instrument cover available (to my knowledge) that allows mounting the GPS module.

I took a Carbonvani cover and cut a hole in it using a dremel and files.
Then I milled and drilled a small aluminium part supporting the GPS sensor.
It's not anodised yet, I just wanted to give you some idea how the problem could be solved.

That looks very nice. I'm surprised that none of the carbon manufacturers have not produced this yet.

Correct there is indeed NO carbon fiber instrument nor cockpit harness for a Panigale that has the GPS fitted - without customer modification.

When will you be releasing this prototype for production? Soon I hope ;-D

Looks like some good work there :)

That's a beautiful dashboard! Part of the reason there may not be a GPS specific one for sale could be because the GPS may not function properly anymore. Carbon fiber can cause all kinds of RF issues around antennas. Hopefully it works good enough to give you decent location telemetry on the DDA+.

@All
Thanks for the compliments!

@Pilot
Thank you very much for this valuable input. I will do some extensive tests and give some feedback as soon as I know more. In my case the situation is probable even worse, due to the fact that I replaced my windscreen which is above the sensor. Also made of CF.
