hey. guys, i bought a similar product and having issues with identifying the proper power source. I. have a BlueSkySea unit and the power adapter has three wires: red/batt, yellow/acc, and black/gnd. i was hoping to use the rear tail light as the power source, so I quick fitted the wires to an extra harness but it doesn't seem to draw enough power. Or maybe it's not a reliable source?

If you are trying to install it properly, red/batt is live all the time, yellow/acc is switched with the ignition and black is ground. I do not believe you will find a live all the time (batt) wire in the tail.

Damn, I was going to mention that to you forgot to. I didn't use the mounting bracket like you did because of exactly that. The clearance wasn't there. Mine is tucked up in a notch in the front. I measured the distance between camera and fender and it exceeds the amount of exposed fork, so this cannot happen. When mounting the front camera you need to check that measurement.

That sucks but you were really lucky the fender didn't skid under the tire or the loss of front brakes cause a crash.

I'm installing a termi 4 uscite exhaust, any ideas for the rear camera placement?

No ideas on that one. That exhaust blocks all of the locations where I would mount a rear camera.
