Hey guys
I have an 2022 SFV4, so I bought the akrapovic full exhaust system from another dealer and came back to my country to replace it on my bike.
Apparently that exhaust that I bought is euro 4 with 2 lambda plugs in the exhaust and my SFV4 is euro 5 so it has 4 lambda cables.
Ever since i assembled the exhaust the check engine light turned on and it’s driving me crazy.

I don’t want to switch back to the old exhaust but I want to solve the check engine light.
Dose anyone had a problem like that?
HELP!

(I talked to the dealership where i bought the exhaust from, if I’m asking you guys they didn’t helped my so far)

what error codes? More than likely the two missing lambda. What tune did you upload to the bike to compliment the exhaust? If it was the factory one then they retain all four lambda. If you haven't had a ECU tune then it will need one!

If you went with several of the options, Woolich, Bren, T800, Duessen, they will or can eliminate the need for the lambdas and clear your CEL light.
The tunes will cost you money so look at your options and work out what is best for you.
Lots of Dyno and tune or just tune info on here search for it.

I used the original tune code from Ducati as it came with the exhaust.
Wired that the light is on.

So to make it clear, there are some other tuning that could help and solve that problem?

Can I do it myself?
Saw a few videos that people had uploaded maps to their SFV4 with some internet codes and stuff like that…

The factory tune needs to see the four lambda.

Search for Deussen engines here. He has done some work regarding street fighter, may be he can help.

First of all make sure you used the correct two lambda Inputs as in the installation manual: https://media.ducati.com/EPCResources/ATTACHMENTS/FD/FDA128B0BD463241B65479F59DF11090.pdf
Secondly only a dealer can install the performance map that comes with the exhaust so that dealer should have seen the engine liight and check for codes. Maybe you can provide some more details on this.

I did the installation in my dealership, they said that because the exhaust is euro 4 and the bike euro 5 it will always come back. the ecu trying to find the other 2 lambda cables and when it can’t connect with them it’s sending the error.

Are you saying that maybe they didn’t connect the right lambda cables that supposed to be connected??

Maybe you need to find a dealer that can read the official Ducati installation manual:

Unfortunately had a report of a similar problem where a dealer had switched the O2 sensor wires around and had an engine warning lamp after a short idle. I remotely diagnosed the issue for the owner and the dealer ended up swapping the wires and all was in order. The claim by the dealer was that the manual was wrong….so I guess hundreds of other shops that did the install without problems were smarter than the manual and installed it correctly ignoring the manual😂
