Checking Oil When She's Hot

It's been well established that the 1199 needs to have her oil checked frequently during break-in. According to the manual, you're supposed to check the oil when the bike is cold. I'm planning on riding her 300 miles on day one (and another 300 miles on day 2)...so my question is how am I supposed to check the oil when she's hot?

Well I tried this and I could not see any oil in the window panicked took it to the dealer around 10km away the bike was hot checked the oil againg and it was spot on where it should be
Finished the 1000 kms it used around 0.3l of oil
