Hey guys I wanted to get your thoughts on these rearsets. For those of you that aren't aware Citta Corsa is formerly Podium Racing. Brian stands behind his parts, but I can't find a single review on these anywhere. Please let me know what you think. Should I just stick with woodcrafts instead??

Citta Corsa rearsets.

VAST would you like to expand on junk? DO you have first hand experience with it? I only ask because it seemed like people liked the company when it was Podium racing.

I'll probably go with woodcraft, but just wanted some opinions.

Looks exactly like the rearsets I got from Hertrampf performance in germany.

The aluminium looks fine, the bolts are amazingly soft and need to be replaced asap. It was not enough to secure with locktite....

After app 30 min, the bearing in the gearlever gave up, and the foodpegs starts to hang down because the aluminium also is quite soft

My advise on this... Save your money and buy better quality

I will say this folks .
Though I have never seen these rear sets, or many other items from Citta Corsa, the one thing I do believe in is the owner and member here - Brian Cavalo. I truly think that this man is a class act who would not put his name out on anything that would embarrass him, the company or put ANY riders in jeopardy or sell trash. Brian is an upstanding guy who contributes to us all and is quick to offer both advise and a discount to anyone - not just military or forum members.

I always said - give the small guy starting out a try and support his dream of making his own mark in todays highly competitive market. Give him a chance and simply send them back if you don't like what you see when they arrive. Just my 4 cents on a good all around dude! :)

Cmon brother

dont put junk on ur bike...

Though known for speaking your mind, which I totally love - give the guy a chance VAST. Have you seen the rear sets in person? I reserve judgement until I have and had them on the bike too. Though Im a huge fan of Ducabike and bought their rear sets I have to admit they are a bit problematic and Ive said my string of expletives when the shifter came off!

Lets give him a shot until he proves himself wrong k?

lets just note the design of said rearsets: look at connection point where it does not line up and the overall aesthetics which do not match the bike...from there note the above comment on bolts and other failure....now to further drive home the point compare to, say, the DP rearsets...

so you've bought this not inexpensively priced fine machine and you are going to put made-in-China-to-not-very-exacting-specs aftermarket pieces on said bike ¿ ¿ ¿ i am sure the seller is a great guy....

(edit: while i dont ever strictly judge parts as function of pricing, gen speaking, let's extrapolate here that to sell for $250ish the manufacturer had total costs of somewhere like $50ish to $65ish dollars to then wholesale at around $120-140ish....okay so....who made this to what exacting specs for a niche production run [panis arent exactly high volume demand esp in aftermarket like this]...)

If you're looking for an affordable yet quality rearsets, I'd suggest HQRacing rearsets. He's a member on here and will set you back about $300. Fitment is great, adjustability is awesome and quality looks to be on point. As Gunny mentioned, he's had problems with his $800 rearsets which antihero has also had problems with so I agree that spending more won't guarantee you a better quality set. I was hesitant initially with the purchase of my HQRacing set but I haven't had a single issue with it since they were installed. Even if they had turned out to be junk, it's not a whole lot of money to risk. Probably the best rearsets on the market anywhere near that price range with more adjustability than the rizomas which are double the cost.

Hi guys. This post was brought forward to me in an email yesterday, so I thought "what a better way to start my membership here"

So I would like to introduce myself by saying hello to everyone here. Some of yo may remember me from Podium Racing, while others from the org forum. To those I have not met yet, hello.

I've been a Ducati enthusiat for almost two decades, and have owned 8 Ducatis in that time. I used to work for a Ducati shop in Arizona prior to getting into the business of aftermarket parts sales.

A I said, I was informed of the thread and thought maybe I could give some clarification to everyone. I think you guys will undestand my point after reading this.

You know as I, there are many different manufacturers that make the exact same design, however some will be better than others, be it better standards, or aluminum, or bolts/bearings. Yes 99.9% of these designs are made in China and these are no exception, however I trust the manufacturer that makes them for me as I've had a long relationship with him, and he also makes my 848 rearsets that everyone seem to give very good reviews about. When looking for a low cost, entry level rearset for the Pani, I tried out 4 different rearset models, and yes, they all lookied identical. I went with the manufacturer I had a relationship with as I trust him, even though they cost me more to invest in.

I've always been the guy that tries to give something for everyone, whether it be low, medium or high priced. This is why I carry several name brand products, like Vortex and Ducabike. If a person has a $25K Pani and contemplates the price of rearsets, I have several options for him, be it $300, $500 or $800. That said, what about the guy that can't buy the $500-$800 rearsets right now, but dropped his bike and broke his stock units, or it's a trackday bike and doesn't want to spend the big bucks? It' is my personal belief that it's best to give thebest product for the dollar you spend. At the $300 range, I believe these were the best option for the Pani rearsets.

More importantly, what the customer also has is the freedom to call me and ask as many questions as he needs to feel comfortable in making the correct decision. One thing I try to pride myself on is being available to everyone at almost any time.

Being a new Company(and small), what I need to make sure I have more of than the other guys is your trust. This is why I will always do my best to make sure the customer is fully confident in his decision when purchasing product from me.

Gunny for sure hit it on the head when mentioning that I would not put someone in danger with inferior product. My rearsets are 7075-T6, so no soft aluminum bending here. I will also back mine up with a 1 year warranty. I there is a manufacture malfunction, call me and we get the part or set replaced. I also have spare parts in case of gravity. This is the customer service aspect I pride myself on.

Being an online store it's difficult to try on the shoe before you buy, so I tell everyone, do your research first, but sometimes you can't always find what you are looking for, so once again I say, give me a call. As some of you know(who know me), I'm always available(well, most of the time).

Lastly, what they need to know is that you are buying in the seller too. If something happens on a Friday night or Sunday morning, can you call the other guys for answers? Probably not. There's the difference. If they are spooked by the "too low" price, I'll gladly raise the price. How much more they are willing to spend to be comfortable? ;) Then again, just buy the Ducabike set. I'll sell them just as easy, and give a great price too.

If you guys ahve any questions, I'm always willing to talk with you about my product. Just give me a call. 1(888)763-4869. Some of you guys even have my cell number.

Welcome to a really great forum Brian. The guys (and ladies) here have as much, if not more passion for their Ducati s as other sites and all love great mods as well..I do think it was a super first post for you coming aboard here and introducing yourself!

Thanks for bringing more gear to everyone and speaking up about your company and the "former" one you came from. All the best brother! :)

Hey guys, come on. It's a little ridiculous to jump to conclusions right off the bat due to a price tag. Heck woodcraft rearsets are super cheap on the price tag and still very strong and decent for the 848. Shouldn't talk a guy down until you have seen the products and facts. To add to the mix, I just finished my first, and hopefully manny more to come, order from Citta Corsa and I gotta say, Brian has the best customer service I've dealt with in years. When it comes to bike parts I'll be returning to him just because he helped me out in a tough time. Thanks again for all the help man.

I currently use rearsets of this design (but not from citta corsa).
It works extremely well for me, both on road and track.
The only drawback was the left heelguard being too small, meaning my left heel was rubbing on the swingarm a lot. i ended up making my own larger heelguard from CF sheet. Very happy.
I actually like the look of the rearset a lot.

Just to show you how I roll guys. If you were to buy my entry priced set of rearsets, I would give you 7 days from date of delivery to see how they feel/work. If you don't like them, send them back and I will give you full product credit towards the Ducabike rearsets(which happen to be on sale too). :D

I think that is a pretty fair. Other types of returns would apply to the terms and agreements listed on my site.
