Hey all … previous owner of my V2 put in a clear clutch cover and I am looking to revert it back to stock and place proper protective cover on it. Does anyone know what parts I will need to revert it back to stock?

I don’t really care for the clear clutch cover and mostly using my V2 for track duty. TIA!

welcome! go to Ducati Omaha site, click on OEM parts, find your model, open up the PDFs that show every single nut/bolt/part on the bike...find the .... youll need to get it back to stock.

ducati omaha makes it real easy partner.

Shame you're over the pond otherwise I could have sold you mine cheap as I've just had a clear clutch cover fitted, prob not worth the shipping.

@eengineer not sure if you are still interested, but am in a similar situation.

I bought a Woodcraft clutch cover and thought it would be an easy replacement. Not so fast! First, my clear clutch cover (also installed by previous owner) did not use the OEM gasket. Had to order that. Then secondly, I found out that the flashy internals, that you see spinning through the clear clutch cover, stick out farther than the OEM parts. Ugh!

So, I spent time talking to the parts guy at my local Ducati Dealer. I was referencing the following from the parts catalog. I was hoping I would only need the stuff from p36. But there was question about 18, 15, and maybe 14 from p38.

In the end the price was getting up there, so I decided to order a Suter Slipper Clutch. It is a complete kit. That way I get an upgrade out of the expense.

Hope this helps

@BTP42 awesome great info. Exactly what I was looking for. I knew someone had gone this route already. And bummer on the price … that’s very annoying. how do you like the Suter slipper clutch? I’m a fast intermediate track rider. Not sure if I will notice much difference until I get in the advanced/expert groups tbh

@eengineer not installed yet, just ordered. I’m a mid-pack Advanced rider. Still not sure I’ll notice the difference. In fact, I have never had an issue with the clutch or quick shifter/blipper on the V2.

My other option was to order everything I might need. Install them and return whatever I didn’t need. I took the bigger cut because I like to upgrade things in the off season. I might even go for some upgraded brake lines this year (again, never had any problem with brake fade or anything else, just upgrading).

@Gilera can you create a list of the OEM parts you replaced or removed when installing the clear clutch cover? I think that is what @eengineer really needs.

FYI - this is the clutch cover I went with, from Woodcraft. I like that it has a replaceable slider.

I have wood craft rearsets and tire warmers. All high quality stuff.
