Clutch engagement

Yesterday, on a warm 85 degree day on my 899 I was sitting in traffic and looking for a parking space. With the clutch pulled, the engagement started getting closer and closer to the grip and increasingly harder to move the clutch pedal...almost impossible to move to neutral. This is the 2nd time this has happened and I only have 3k on the clock.

Any ideas what's causing this or do I just need to bring it in to the dealership for warranty?

Didn't I just tell you on your other posting you are drunk? You are still drunk. Get out of your car and wait until you are sober and then get on your bike and report back.

On my 1299, it seem necessary to bleed the clutch every 500 miles or so. Fixes it right away.

Looks like some of the Brembo OEM stuff is junk. It happens. If you have to bleed a hydraulic system at any sort of regular interval, your hydraulic system has an issue.If you are using a quality DOT4 fluid and your fluid is a different color than when it went in, your hydraulic system has an issue. End of story Contrary to some verbiage floating around, it is not a "Ducati" thing to have hydraulic issues. There is a system integrity issue.

Clutch master cylinder will need bleeding. It happened on my 1299 the other week. I hadn't ridden it for two weeks and for some reason it was full of air. I had an emergency trip mid ride to an Aprilia dealer who are ace. Just passionate about bikes. Hell the owner was hugging my bike out the back. They bled the master cylinder and the mechanic said as soon as he cracked the bleed valve the lever was fine. However he also did the slave and changed the fluid. £5 was the cost. Took 20 mins from walking in to leaving! Incidently when I owned a millie this happened every month!
