Hi guys :)
I've done a quick search but I came up with nothing. Could anyone tell me the benefits of removing the coal canister and what is does / restricts ?

I'm guessing the flow of exhaust gasses?

I don't think the europe bikes have the canister, I looked at the parts guide for UK and its not in there.

It's purely for emissions, to capture gas fumes route them back into the engine to burn. DOwnside with them, as happened on my streetfighter, it malfunctioned, caused such a pressure build up in the tank it split the paint.

Other problem with the canister, if you overfill the gas tank, it goes directly into the canister which leads to poor running.

Thanks! Just the explanation I needed :D. I guess I won't have to worry about it then.
