My real concern is that it won't fit my 1299S and that I will be stuck with an exhaust that doesn't work for me.

I'm not sure what you mean... Forum members have already shown photos installed on their 1299's...

I know they have, but I still keep hearing and reading that the 1299 system may have different sized tubing, different connection points, a different "bend" under our seat and slightly different headers .... I am waiting until a definitive answer emerges... If the 1299 system IS different, I may have to cave and buy it, hopefully my dealer will give me a break on the price, which I still think is a bend us over job.
 
TJ from Ducati confirmed the Akra Evo system will fit the 1299 and Pani R just need a map or rb module for it.

I guess I'm getting the 1199 Race Evo system then and will work with Rapidbike on getting a race module with tunes/maps for California crap 91 octane and also for 101 octane race gas...

I emailed Tanya to see if they still have one. I've thought about it and going to buy one for my 1199 track conversion.
 
Looks like the deal is over.

I don't get it...regarding my R waiting patiently for me at Motocorsa, I was told: "The bike comes with a full titanium street legal Akropovic exhaust."

Is the one you guys are buying different than what's on the/my bike?

It's not full titanium unless you had your dealership put on the $5000 Ducati exhaust.... I think your dealership sounds like the people who are clueless... The bike has a mostly titanium system that is street legal.
