if you get the ducati be prepared to spend a lot more in upgrades. best looking bike still by far however i dont know anybody that just bought it and rode it as is. slip ons alone are expansive lets not talk everything else you NEED once you get a ducati.
h2 i have seen it in person its gross. wouldnt even consider.

Pro Ducati Panigale 1299 (S)
V2 Engine
It has a soul, it feels there is a beast in the engine
The sound, I felt in love with it
Torque
Handling
Top components and Electronics (cruise control can even now be added via Tune Boy, its convenient when you come back exhausted from the 21 km "Nordschleife" Nurnburgring)
Top suspension (many fine tuning possibilities)
Looks, it does not look like Forest Whitaker, I am sorry the BMW looks hideous
Looks; single sided rear, awsome rear tire
Grippy pegs
Many after market upgrade components available

Minor Con's
Rather rough engine in low rpm's, like all V2's (drive faster:))
High frequency vibrations of engine (not annoyingly)
Tiny instabilities at extreme high speeds on the straight
Thinner handle bar grips if you have large hands (aftermarket larger ones are available)
Bike tends to get quicker hot in traffic (I go to wet mode while in traffic and there is nearly no issue anymore, or buy a Akra slip on)
Its more a track bike then a street bike but that what you want deep inside

The only other bike I would consider to have as a second bike is the Aprilia, because of its MotoGP like corner entrance possibilty

Please marginalize this "considering" line of nonsense rhetoric"¦.
I can assure you that the fine gentlemen of this forum belong to a prestige club, and such remain in good standing as individuals who just purchase and don't need to ask for advice on their purchases"¦

Therefore you must either purchase or GTFO"¦no time for procrastination..

I would echo these sentiments. The heat and jerky throttle smooth out at speed, even at 120km/h it is fun. I live on the outer fringes of Vancouver BC so i have just a few traffic lights and then open country highways. i also have a race track nearby. I have NO complaints about the panigale except that if you live in the city and do lots of in city riding, don't go with the pani.

i just looked up the H2. it's hideous. can't believe you are having trouble deciding between the 2.
