Concur with your sentiments Rodolfo. Great to meet you and Craig in real life.

You were moving. Under 2:30 is FASSTT, nice job!. I picked off another 2.5 seconds from my PB chasing you.

Craig's bike is next level. Gorgeous. Here's some pics I took. I'll be back at COTA Aug 13, hope to ride with you all again.

nice too ride With you Tom

sorry we couldn't follow on the last session, I was trying to look for a clear track.

need to buy a new laptimer, i just got mine to work in 2 sessions of six.

@TomFoolery @RODOLFO great meeting you fellas!

2:29 is moving indeed - nice riding Rodolfo!

I’ll be there with @saccardo and @MOTION SBK again for Vito Veloce, July 2/3 with 3:16, and in August with Ridesmart. Got the bump to A group so I can ride with you guys next time and maybe learn a few things. :)

Thanks for the shout out! Brad built a helluva bike.

great meeting you craig

you will have a blast in Advance group

and thanks for introducing us to brad, sure will be contacting him to get a few parts.

do you have a side pics, Craig? And of the controls

i was so in shock, forgot to take some pictures

Couple of observations about bike setup from COTA this weekend -
  1. I have to say what a big difference the bigger windshield makes! @RODOLFO good recommendation. Funny, I rode the GP2 for a couple sessions yesterday and it has a gynormous windshield - even bigger than the new one I got for the V4. It was so calm and quiet behind it on the back straight!!! Granted, I am only doing 145 ish on that bike compared to 165-170ish on the V4 but man there was so much less turbulence and I could hear myself think on the back straight. Tracks with long ass straights - get the biggest windshield you can find people!
  2. I don't know that I like the SC1 front. I set some fast times on it and beat my PB so I shouldn't complain but I think I lost a ton of braking stability. I almost never get taken on the brakes, happens very rarely and rodolfo and a couple other guys were routinely taking me on the brakes. I also felt the front give mid corner in a couple of really deep corners. I am going to go back to a hard front next time at COTA.
  3. Craig sold me on the domino throttle. Motion SBK is going to order it for me as soon as its available. Suspension guy and I were talking about the tearing on my SC1. Granted SC1s are a bitch and tear often on the right at COTA (carousal heats them up) even when everything is working right, so we aren't reading too much into it, but his point was that while I am getting all the way over to the edge of the tire, I am being a bit aggressive on picking up the throttle which is why the tear is not closer to the edge. i.e., bike is standing up way too much on the contact patch on throttle pickup. Hoping the domino throttle with finer feel will help.

@WyldCFH were you there? next time we will PM you ahead of time to exchange numbers. Would have been good to meet you in person.

Are you using the supercorsa? Or the slick?
The SC1 Supercorsa has a softer carcass, feels like the front is moving, or tucking, but it's the carcass deforming. You can try running a lot higher pressure (c.37psi), or run the SC2 Supercorsa. The SC1 slick front, uses the same carcass as the SC2 Supercorsa, which is much stiffer. Feels a little wooden in comparison initilly, but does not deform, so ultimately, gives more confidence.

Cone on Rick you know I'm not a noobie. Supercorsa LMAO [emoji1787] I'm running the slick 125/70

Yep, I was there. If you were running E in the 2:30s they should have bumped you from the get go. We had some people in A get dropped for being slow/unpredictable.

I was running 2:40s doing suspension setup and after new springs front and rear were installed and a switch to SC2 rear and SC3 front.
There were a few MotoA guys just f'n railing both days running sub 2:19. I learned quite a bit trying to follow their lines after they passed me. lol

I'll be there for Vita Veloce day on June 19 then probably both RS days in August and both RR Fest days in Oct.
Riding Inter for Vita Veloce to figure out more chassis issues. Were going to change my swingarm pivot and put on a longer chain in hopes of keeping the front down so TC and WC aren't slowing me down everytime I touch the throttle.

DAMN. Nice bikes guys!

Thank you my friend. I’m looking forward to riding with you guys next time. :)

i have one side pic:

What fairings are those? Is the whole side from the wing down one piece?

It’s the Fullsix RS kit here:

The side is one piece from the wing to the belly pan. A nice feature is elimination of the “bridge” between the side and the tank cover.
