I'm interested in seeing what custom suit designs people have had made and looking for some inspiration.

I've come up with the following ideas but I'm not the creative type at all... I'm not sure about the 'Ducatista' bit and inclined to leave it out. The lower back text is partly ironic and also a reference to my girlfriend, so that's staying for my own amusement.

Any (constructive) input on design and colours would be welcome and I'd love to see what you lot have come up with.

It's based on the Misano D-Air suit. I think you use your own back protector with these but someone said that his came with one. Let me know if you have info on this - I suspect he just got a back protector thrown in with it and thought it came with one?

I'm probably going to have a version of the VR46 colours on the bike or the Ducati winter testing colours but the suit doesn't have to match.

Have you looked at the made to measure air bag suit offered by RST.

been there done that excellent quality excellent service and you sit there with the design lady and colour away to your hearts content.

ive had the dainese airbag suit (off the shelf admittedly) which I thought fitted, the difference is night and day when one is actually made for you

My D air suit came with a separate back protector. On the RST its integral in the lining no faffing pushing it in and down..

No external lights on the RST although it links in with a app on your phone so you can see its status Also the Dainese on e deflates after operation... the RST you have to release the air pressure manually.

I'm not in the UK Andy. I go back from time to time and I can get things brought over without issues from time to time but I need to do this locally (Prague). If I was in the UK more often then I'd certainly consider RST.

cool, where are you going to then is there a dainese in Prague? trying to find my image from RST of my MTM suit...

There is a bike shop here that has been trained up and authorised for custom fit. Shops and dealers are pretty good here and biking seems quite popular, which it should be with Most and Brno available.

I’ve got a Troy Corser track day booked for the beginning of June at Brno. There’s another one by a different organiser that I think you might have mentioned at the end of June, but I don’t yet know if my girlfriend will be here to look after our dog as she travels a lot for work.

I’m hoping to be able to get there, but I’ve not been able to book it because I don’t know if I can go yet.

God forgive me for digressing... 😂you know it makes sense!!.... there is a group of 10 of us going...feel free to join in you can show us the highlights of Brno town...

I like all the designs you’ve come up with. 👍

Think I like the first one best, but I like the subdued chest logo on the others. I chose a similar theme when I messed around with the Dainese designer.

Thanks. You can waste hours on the damn thing. 🤣 Feel free to post up your best efforts. It might give me or others some inspiration.

Of the four in my post above I'm liking the first and second most. Maybe with the normal black on the shoulders and keep the rest matt black. Or the second one could have yellow highlight strips instead of magnesium - that could work.

For the money these things cost it's worth taking a bit of time to be 100% happy with it. Initial designs had various logos on the upper arms - Ohlins, Shell, Akrapovic, etc - which looked sort of cool and are all parts on the bike, but they added unnecessarily to the cost and nobody's paying me so they can bugger off getting free advertising. 🤣

I'm toying with the idea of having the 2023 Mooney VR46 style on the fairings - maybe change 'Mooney' to 'Ducati' - or the black Aruba Ducati winter testing colours (I could change 'Aruba.it to 'bananas' 🤣). I'll use them on the road as well so it's got to keep plenty of black on it to avoid having to register a change of colour.
