For those of you who read his full page article (on the record) in Cycle World Magazine, I would love to get what you took away from it. I found it less than inspirational. First learning of Factories opening in Thailand and Brazil? I like the idea of my bike being built in Italy at a factory with rich history. Brazil makes the hottest women in the world but outsourcing production of bikes?
Also a "spring" version bike to better respond to the challenge of serviceability.
The tri he is sitting on looks amazing but not much positive PR in that piece. If I was on the fence about getting a Ducati that article would not give me confidence.
I hope others read the article and take away a more positive read. I find it almost as an apology letter. Shuddering in low rpms, Supersport fairing poorly, 10,000 bike sales loss...
To me a full page piece gives you an opportunity to be a cheerleader not a, "will do better in the future.'
just my take.
