I’m looking for replacement mirrors for my V2, and the fitting is the same as the V4.

Rizoma are coming in at seriously silly prices, but DB Race do some mirrors for the V4/V2 called Daemon which look awesome.

Anyone here tried them?

I also just ordered few days ago also Daemon Carbon , and should receive them next week

I emailed a well known parts dealer about these as they have a set of Rizoma’s on order for me. They said they had some build quality concerns and said they found they vibrated so have elected not to carry them. I’m very interested to hear you experience once you get them installed.

See quote below...

“We do not carry DB mirrors for a very simple reason that they shake a bit and edge of the motors on the inside are raw, a bit unfinished and nowhere close to the quality of Rizoma’s, otherwise we had the opportunity to carry the brand as well.

Ok , lets see .. The reason I didn't choose Rizoma because they have a very long poles , it will an issue ,, shaking effect ,, due to length of there pole . DB are short slick and thick - surprised that someone said that they are also ,, shaking ,, .... Also want them in matt carbon to match matt carbon finish on V4R , which Rizoma does not offer ( either black or silver ) . Will give you my report and photos once I got them installed

I have Rizoma Veloce Ls.

They are not: very long, nor shaking.

I will get DB installed next week , will give my independent feedback. I wouldn’t listen dealers about DB products because there is no any or distributors or dealers of DB in US Its all speculation and personal taste. DB are not cheap I payed inc shipping € 580 vs Rizoma set $ 558

I’m looking forward to hearing how you like the DB Race mirrors. Did you get them installed yet?

Got those mirrors . Its a beautiful set , build solid , amazing quality product , medium/small in size and very elegant . Rizoma has very long pols which I don't really like it ...I have no idea what ,, dealer ,, was talking about ( on previous conversation someone said about it - ,, the dealer complained about quality and vibration of those mirrors ,, Don't believe it , promise you won't be disappointed , its worth every single $$$ you spend on them . I got carbon matt finish for V4R ( as all parts are matt carbon also on this bike )Also comes in very elegant box. Here the photos

Thanks for the update! Very exciting. Have you installed them yet? If so, can you share your experience. Any vibration? How’s the visibility? Any other feedback over the stock version? Thx.

They look amazing... but by god that's expensive! What's the visibility like out of 'em? I know with the OEM ones (and my posture), I have to tuck my elbows in and move my head to see anything behind ('see' being an absolute blur because of the vibration anyway).

Funny, I don't have much vibration and can see clearly through my standard mirrors. As long as the road condition is reasonable of course. Maybe because I'm still running in and staying under 7k rpm. My view in both mirrors is only partly obstructed - my elbows blot out the triangular portion of each mirror. The only problem I had was simply getting used to the smallness of the mirrors compared to my previous bike. But now I'm comfortable with them (ie the tiny picture) they both give me a clear view overlapping behind.

Following this thread because if I ever break one I'll go after market. But they all seem shorter than the oem ones so concerned my elbows would block the whole view.

Hey mate, what year/model have you got (mines a '19 V4S). If I'm doing 100 - 110 km/h in 5th or 6th (5Kish rpm), I can't tell whether objects behind me are coming or going (and/or what lane they're in) lol.
