2020 v4 panigale or Streetfighter? I love the superbike look! But I'm not getting any younger!

Only you know what's right for you. I bought a 2020 V4S for exactly the same reason - 63 next month, my first ever sportbike and first Duc. It's brilliant. But I did keep my VFR and last weekend took it for a ride after a month on the Duc. I realised I had never appreciated how the Honda soaks up the bumps. Really glad I kept it. Ultra-glad I bought the V4S.

Yes I'm coming off a 2018 aprillia factory tuono, had both the 1199 and 1299 panigale's just can't beat the look of the panigale

There is just something about being on a sport bike. I thought I could give it up and had a S1000r for a bit, but it got traded in on a 19 V4S. I do have a KTM 1290 super adventure S for longer rides, but considering getting a Tuono myself for some backroad hooligan rides (these are 350+ mile day rides, which are a bit much for me on the V4S). The KTM is great on these, but sometimes I just want more :)

The factory tuono v4 is amazing

I'm 57 and got a nice used 1299S, from doing stretching and other exercises....can ride about 150 miles per day with no complaints. I'm 6'4" and 220. 34 inseam, so I can stand on both feet flat at a place where I'm stopped with the bike. I just can't do the cruiser thing yet.....but when I do it'll be a Diavel 1260.

I actually just shook up my stable regarding the same decision.

I had a Super Duke R, but was ready for a change and the prototype SF in the black/white colorway hooked me, then the media with it in red and I put a downpayment. Went to two different SF launch parties and looked at the Pani and SF side by side and got the Pani.
I'm 6'4" 200ish and 47 years old and done multiple 150+ days in the Texas countryside, as much as there is near Houston.

Here is the big caveat and what made me choose the Pani other than looks... my BMW R1250GS is so damn good at doing everything other than being a sportbike that anything less than a sportbike would be overlap and kind of a waste of money. And honestly, I had no problems showing up some 170hp+ bikes at the "Twisted Sisters" in Leakey TX on it. So it carves well enough to be fun if we take multi trip days and don't want to trailer our bikes.

**EDIT**
I should also note, the only two sportbikes I found comfortable for my size are the Pani and the H2. I've not made any seat/peg/bar position changes yet.

Cheers I think pani it is

Ooh Turks! I'm sitting in the cafe at Frasers Homebush while bike's being serviced. They've got the lot here. V2, V4, S, Spec, R, the SF, and even an Anniversario. Head is spinning. Don't know which way to look.

(I need some of you guys to explain to my wife why I really do need a Tuono. As well.)

They have them new in stock then? i am in Adelaide just about to order. I am wondering if there is a wait i waited back in 2015 for 6 weeks for my 1299

The SF has a sold sticker on it as does the Anniv. But, although these bikes are usually pre-ordered months in advance of them hitting the showrooms, sometimes buyers have financial hiccups and have to cancel. That was certainly the case when the Corona lockdown put so many out of work and was why I had no wait on a 2020 V4S that had just arrived. You can be lucky. But a bit of waiting is not bad, builds the excitement.

Yes like i said i waited back in 2015 for my 1299, I dont mind waiting at this time of year!
