I'm about 6'2" and 250-255 lbs. A few guys in the same size range were reporting on other 1199 forums that they were having severe front end diving with full fork bottoming out even with front Compression eventually set at zero! I suggested that they check the amount of fork oil present. A few of them are talking about full re-valving and re-springing as a result.

I can't believe that the 1199 would come with sub-performing spring rates. After all of the great reviews; none that I can recall mentioned any of these issues.

My personal "zip tie test" showed only about 50% travel of the available fork tube used under hard cornering, hard braking and totally F'ed up roads around here.

I'm also running with the rear in F mode, engine braking at level 2 and ABS at level 5.

What have you fellows noticed as far as the extreme compression issues that some others have experienced?

6'2", 225 lbs and after a day of riding the twisties, suspension front and rear has plenty of room before bottoming out and spring rates front and back feel great to me. We'll see on the track what I might adjust further but bike feels perfect at the moment, no complaints.

I'm 6'3" 255. Did my first track day with the Pani recently, I didn't notice it bottoming out.

Just for curiosity, what are other 200 lb + guys using for suspension settings.
