Design theory wsbk exhaust

I was told $17K and bring along your racing resume ...:rolleyes:

WSBK exhaust isn't worth much without the engine... which you can get. If you happen to know the right people. I know of two that were purchased, and one that I chased around the track (keyword there being "chased"). In capable hands they can be a real track weapon..

Ive seen a number of track bikes on the web in which they have done mods to the Superstock exhuast and made it longer specially in the rear hoop section.

Some one in Italy purchased Chaz Davies '15 bike and I saw it at my friends workshop . I started it up , definetly not std , should have heard the cams at idle.

I should be satisfied with the exhaust I have, but unbelievably loud in the cockpit. Made 192 at the rear wheel , since then we fitted wideband O2 sensors and upped the electronics . Bike is very ridable but feels a bit flat below 4000rpm making it a bit tricky to launch .
Still , keeping the FM headers and building from there wont cost much and can be reversible in 30 mins . Using RapidBike Race .

These bikes shouldn't be under 4000 RPM on the track. Also, you should be launching closer to 6000 RPM.

I would be interested to see how this progresses, as I have also an issue with the full Akra system and dB on track, as its too load for the local track for me.
I spoke to Storm racing who produced the BSB systems ( switched back to Akra now) and he is looking at the possibility to use the Akra headers and slot on a longer link pipe and move the rear silencers to the rear. this could be an other option.

Start on it later this week . Design will get the headers close to being equal and use a merge collector . Keep you all posted .

This is the exhaust that should have shipped with the bike. And it should have exited like the Desmo. Nuff said
