it's not actually any longer than the stock peg, but due to the shape, it is actually a bit easier to get the stand down.

Yea I noticed the same thing I was wondering why the instructions says it‘s a little longer and not to use on track because of lean angle.. great piece easy to find versus kicking up your fairing to find the stock version.

The kit should have 2 screws and two aluminum pieces. The shorter screw would work the with Red piece only and produce a stock length. Adding the Black piece makes the overall length increase over stock and you use the longer screw for the install.

What JimmyS said above! Just an FYI, with the black piece added with regular footwear it is quite easy to get the stand down. With Sidi Rex boots, the heel is angled and there is so much protection behind the heel, even with the extra length you cant get the kickstand down. If you wear race boots, it is a worthless addition. Also, they do not recommend running with the black extension on the track.
