On the V4 it depends on the side I believe the sprocket side is the above & the wheel side is the 1098L pin.

40 mm and its marked 1098 L, and it works on both sides.

Just wanted to follow up as I had to change tires and make another change. The1098L pin only works (properly) on the left (sprocket) side and the MV pin works on the right side. I guess you could use the 1098L pin but it is a little small.

The sprocket side is the same as 1098 1198 1199 1299 multistrada.....yada yada yada

The V4 is same as 98/99 axles and same goes for the rear titanium axles as well. I just machine them out of delrin less wear to inside bore of axle.
