I know its a thread for panni,s but whilst i was waiting for my bike to be serviced today i took one of the Diaviel,s out for a run.
Never been on one before and to say the least i dont think ive ever quite experienced anything like it!
The seating and bar position lend themselves to a cruiser however the power delivery and torque are very much sports bike.
Just imagine you riding your panni whilst sitting on the sofa and you,l be about right!
Great fun to ride although i dont think i could live with one all the time.
The torque really does catch you out, just a slight twist and its away and pulls hard from any gear, it redlines at 11k aswell unlike most cruisers.
handling wise it was fairly good considering it weighs over 200kg and it was fairly easy once it got going to throw it into corners however the clearance would proberbly be an issue if you where really on it.
If you have some spare time and you,ve never ridden one go for a test ride, everyone should experience one of these at least once. I know i,l be back for another go at some point.
