Different Handlebar Grips

This is weird - my LH grip is about 7mm shorter than the throttle grip.

Noticed it as there's a bigger gap between bar end and grip on the LHS.

Looking at other bike pics, I don't notice the same issue.

Early version parts manual is wrong, as it says they are universal LHS/RHS ... but then "Ducati" would be upside down on one side :eek:

No biggie, just a casual observation :p
 
i notice the same thing
but i do see pics of members' bike showing the same

Mine is the same. I noticed this when I picked it up. Just figured the grip wasnt pulled down to the bar end far enough.

No offset there - the installer failed to account for the 1 to 1.5 mm clearance gap either side of the throttle grip and pushed the left side grip bang up to the left side switch gear. I repositioned my by pulling and slightly twisting back a forth to pull it slightly away from the switch gear and reduce the gap to the bar end.
