Hey guys,

Hard question to answer but does anyone know if I can comfortably cruise at 75-80mph and stay below the 6,000RPM break in???

I'll be taking this thing back and forth to work and everyone cruising on I90 is going at lease 75mph...

Easy question really; gearing is published. As long as you're in 4th gear or higher you're set. 6th gear at 6,000 rpm will have the law after you big time as it's over 105 mph... ;)

you definitely will want to keep the revs moving up and down and try to shift. Highway is not a great break in method at all

Easily. I rode mine around in France to get the run-in done as quickly as possible and it's hard to use 5th and 6th at motorway speeds, even in France which has an 80mph limit. You only really need 1 to 4, even with the rev limit. As said above you want to avoid highways during run-in, you want to be changing gears and revs frequently. Droning along in a single gear at fixed revs is bad for a new engine.
