It is a great engine so expected that it will appear in different bikes. Doubt any of the "cheaper" ones will make me regret buying a V4s.

I'd love to see a small engine high-reving Ducati V4, similar to bikes in the '90's like the Honda VFR400

I forget which forum it was, but one of the Ducati ones had a thread about an 800cc ish version on the horizon. I'm not entirely sure it makes sense to do it though. As long as the twin can pass emissions regs, I wouldn't think it would pencil out for a cheaper model.
