Hi,

Just noticed something that really worries me. As per attached picture the DP clutch reservoir has some signs of leak. It looks like that reservoir is slightly damage already by fluid and some sign of fluid can be seen on cable.
I was trying to google any similar case but couldn't find anything.
I was wondering how is it possible that reservoir has a leak? What could cause it? I have done approximately 3500km with the DP reservoir and never had any problem.
I am planning to visit my dealer shortly and I hope that my warrenty claim won't be rejected.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Bet some twits will be saying you must embrace it it's all in the Ducati ownership experience
It's part of the Italian brand romance

Off topic but I can't help just adding I called home today (I'm away on duty for 3 months) my wife tells me that there is now some pink liquid collecting under my bike....

I think if that is the case the only thing that has not leaked on mine is petrol

Hopefully it is not too much fluid- looking at the issue from the service technician perspective.

Hi Mate,
Mine leaked from day 1. After doing lots of measurements I concluded that there is not enough force from the cap on to the sealing diaphragm to stop leaks when the cap is screwed down. I ended up placing a thin(ish) teflon washer between the diaphragm and the cap to increase the pressure between the two sealing surfaces....worked a treat.
