clea tail kit

I am told this is a bitch to fit and has missing screws/bolts??? Anyone fitted this??

Hey man why would you remove the THE BIGGEST TOW HITCH EVER and replace with smaller one. Honestly, between Comp werkes, and the guy BUCCI, on here, you could have a cleaner look. Unless the laws in your town are strict?

Thank you. Just finished installing the DP Tail Tidy / Relocator along with the Euro-spec turn signals (thanks to an earlier post!). All went well (the kit came with the required bolts/screws) but needed to be keen to leave the 4 bolts in place under the pillion pad cover (two holes that allow for a long t-handle to get to two "hidden" hex socket head bolts). Feeding the wires up and thru the rubber flap (under said pillion pad cover) helped as well. The hardest part for me was getting the final cover on along with aligning the license plate mounting bracket holes with the assembly...fook!

I'm really happy with how it looks, I don't think I would have liked it as much if i had used the stock signals.

Pics tomorrow!

Hi Oalvarez,

Thank you for posting the pics. Is it possible to ask one favour and put up a comparison photo of the standard indicator against the euro style indicator.

It would appear that in Australia we have the euro style one as our standard. Less money on indicators goes towards the next CF purchase.

Many Thanks

I installed my DP tail last weekend along with the euro indicator lights. The lights are definitely smaller in dimension and LED's too. It had all the screws. I just can't tighten up the cover much more. I broke the head off one of the screws!

My kit came with skinny sheet metal screws for the carbon cover.

I will run down to the hardware store and get some allens since the carbon piece is already threaded and ready for real screws
