Hi there,

for those of you who have the dp tail tidy already installed. Did you do it yourself or got your dealership to do it for you.

I'm thinking if i can do it myself? I think it should be ok.

I did mine and I'm pretty bad at this sort of stuff.

NB: There were four screws missing - the two for the plate light and the one attaching the carbon fibre to the underplate - you might want to buy it from a dealer and have them open and check to be sure because there have been a lot of people reporting screws missing. (my dealer provided the screws) trickiest bit was pulling the wires and connectors up through the rubber bung without breaking them.

Do it yourself mate, you shouldn't be able to muck it up if you follow the instructions...

Have they sorted out the screw issue yet? Seemed everyone who got one had some of te screws missing as mentioned above?

LOL. After being there at dealer and helping him do this, there is no effing way I would do this myself! Forget about it!

Why do you say that? It's 4 bolts from the inside, a couple on the tail, remove lights, put the new frame on , put in lights, and bolt it up?

It took me 3 hours last night, it was real PIA. If I did it again it would be simple.

Yes the 4 small bolts were missing, I managed to find some, infant the original Led taillight screes work so that leaves only 2.

I ended up taking the whole tail section off to lift up that ....... rubber cover over the wires and did it that way, much easier in the long run.

Now I just have to work out where to put our stupid rego decal.

Looks great and worth the effort.
