Word to the wise to all who are using the NRC tail tidy….swapped mine for a fururismoto unit today and holy cow what a much better solution.

Quality is amazing.

Much smaller unit overall.

Wiring is tucked up nice and neat without 3 miles of wire and connectors and whatnot to stuff back up into the tail section. Just one connector at the factory one.

LEDs are much brighter

More sturdy than the NRC. The size of the NRC unit, combined with the thin metal never felt like it was really held in place well by just the two bolts.

License plate LED is a very cool pinhole thing that you can’t even see when it’s not on. At first I thought it didn’t have plate illumination. Then I turned it on. Super trick.

Anyway, sometimes you have to wait a couple weeks for him to make more if he doesn’t have in stock but the wait is so worth it.

Not cheap…but well worth it

No affiliation. LOL

I had a one on for a while, they get hammered from stones and one day the numberplate bracket just fell off lol! TBF, I did a lot of miles including on dirt roads.

They are neat solutions but dont hold up to hard use, Im now running the evotech which is not as aesthetic but more durable.

Number plate bracket admittedly looks to be the weak link with that one tiny screw that you have to set from the inside. Loctite hopefully will keep it from rattling loose.

My license plate fell off too, and I didn’t live how it was kind of a pita to remove the license plate on track day, I rigged up my own setup where the license plate bracket is held on with the same screws that hold the tail tidy on, and got some longer screws to do it with, now plate comes off easily without removing the whole tail tidy, and it’s solidly mounted.

It wasn't the screw, thats still in place, it was fatigue at the bend. I wrote to them but got a blah blah reply with a price for a new bracket with no offer to make it good or take the feedback to redesign the part. In other words their customer service sucked.

Yikes…that’s no good.

Well in their defense, I doubt neither their use case nor test scenarios included off roading the PV4

Can’t imagine vibrating my plate enough to break the bracket due to fatigue/strain. Hats off…

Another reason to go with Fulcrume. Their customer service is incredible and their product is amazing ahha. I have no affiliation, just a very satisfied customer. Ducati Newport beached turned me onto them

Mine just snapped off on my Panigale V4S after 2800 miles (good roads and conditions) at the 90 degree bend. Lost plate and going through hassle of getting new one. After this thread and several others on YouTube and other forums I have zero faith a new bracket won't do the same. Really don't want to change plate brackets more frequently than tires 🙃. Just ordered a Fulcrume tidy, the design and materials seem better.

They are not a bad tail tidy just not that durable in a location that takes a beating. I made another bracket out of some steel and refitted it because I love the aesthetics but one of the turn signals had unglued itself, had to repair that and the other point is that the tag light doesn't work if the plate is angled back which may be a good thing or not! Overall they score highly on looks if not a bit expensive, good luck to the Futurismoto team but they could improve a couple of aspects of the design

Mine broke at 4,000 miles. The part that attached to the lights, via a screw was still intact. The bracket broke at the bend coming out of the plate. Now I have to figure out when I’m going to spend a day at the dmv and pay for another plate. 😡😡. Looks Gr8 but it will eventually bring a headache.

Exact same thing that happened to me at 2800 miles (good roads and conditions). I went with the Fulcrume tidy I found out about from others that had this problem with this tidy. Better design (lighter stronger bracket, two points of fixation and bolts directly to bike not to the tidy). Slightly less sexy look IMO, but still looks great and I have more faith in the design.

Nice, however I think you’re going to experience the same issue. Futurismoto is sending me a new bracket, but I just drilled 2 holes in my plate, got longer bolts, and bolted the plate to the Futurismoto device. It lays a bit more against the underside than with the plate, and I don’t see it going anywhere.
