DQS error

i have a 2012 1199 and sometimes when i use dqs with hard throttle it gets stuck in neutral or sometimes at like 3 4 and 5 when i try to shift it up just stays in the gear it's already on. Any body else have the same issues?

I Never had that issue. Anything binding in the shifter area? Sounds physical. If not, something could be up with the tranny. Are you shifting with enough umph haha?!
 
I've had that happen a few times on the 14R. Dealer said, give it good revs and solid firm upshifts.

We in the IT field would call this a "user error."

Gotta give it a good slammin' upshift.

Other ways to help:
1. GP Shift
2. Adjustable rearsets
 
never really had that happen...

make sure there's plenty of load on the engine and you're not in the lower third of the rev range.

and with shifting it's like with wimmins:

decide and do right. hesitation is a weakness. wimmins and gearboxes don't like that. they will start leaking. :D



another reason to switch to GP-shift: the upshift is done by a push down, way easier to apply a short dedicated force.
 
I have hit a false neutral every so often, which can be really dangerous. I have zero ideas on why this happens as im usually on the gas and use gp shift etc
