after checking noth connections to the left and right switches, i found that i also ziptied them in a way that they could not back out ,
i know that button is working, because its the one that selects the abs dtc dwc etc etc quick access menu. so i know the button is working,
just the DRL menu with the auto and manual setting is gone, right now the drls are on high permanently.

Do you both have the JP 8-button left control? I have them installed on my bike (2021) and don't have a problem with the DRL.Funny. I was checking for the same thing yesterday, on my 2019 bike. Also not there anymore. And, I always thought it was there. Presumably removed by an update. Mine isn't stuck in high beam. D'you have a stock set of switches?
Thanks y replay.
I guess, need to use you way also.
when you said it defaulted to low....... the light came on in my damn head, i thought back to when i used melco diag to remove the DTCs i had..i was messin around with the tests that it could do an i was checking what worked on melco diag and what didnt work.. well it has DRL on and DRL off, when you hit the on it goes to high drl and on off it goes to low drl setting, so i remembe thinking ok that test works. so i hooked up melco diag again and hit the DRL on button and the DRLs went to high setting.. then i went to the button and hit it and they would cycle to high and low DRL settiing. It did not even occur to me that this meant to disable the function all together....then i looked on the menu and DRL was back under the tire calibration like it used to be. so all is well again. and once again i am reminded to not be pushing buttons unless i understand what they do..but how in the hell will i learn if i dont.. anyway thanks bpYou can turn it off with the OBDStar so it defaults to the low or parking light mode. I think it's in the dash settings but I don't remember if it removes the indicator from the dash and switch functionality.
