austin racing is developing a exhaust system and has put a brand new panigale S with only 50 miles on it on the dyno.

offcourse the top end hp is not fair because the bike is not yet run in.

but still they claimed a 176 Hp at the rear and a massive 92+ft of torque

pagename - austinracing

Did they disconnect the speed sensor and turn off traction as there is an official procedure from Ducati about that, I think it makes around 3bhp difference
We had two bikes tested at Ducati Coventry and they were both around 183 at the wheel

183 at the wheel? that's impressive. do you have proof of it ? dynosheet? i saw the youtube video of the 172 hp as well. maybe the conditions were less good in that situation. i expect the Hp to be in the top 70's like 176/178. i hope more offcourse :p

One thing has been bothering me is the difference in HP between engine and RW . Doesn't this vary between dynos in how they're configured, rear wheel slippage and gear/speed readings. I haven't studied it too much and only use these RW dyno readings to gauge/measure improvement between modifications.

In the long run what matters is how the bike rides and i try to refrain from comparing 2 different bikes base on RW dyno numbers

I like this article that covers this topic:
True Rear Wheel Horsepower

You must be new to all vehicles. Crank and wheel are two different things.

Historically we always assumed that drivetrain absorbs 10-15% power. Power claims are all relative. Only valid if you compare figures on a consistent basis.

New to vehicles, far from it sir, i wont provide a cv. I'm just not into the hype of comparing whp between different bikes on different dynos as it's pointless.

Besides isnt this thread about the whp numbers?

It's called marketing.

Just like when they advertise the hottest car on TV at only $199 a month. Go down and try get it for $199 a month, good luck.
