Scrapper/others, what is special about that pipe? Is it different than what comes in the "Full" kit?

Thanks in advance,

I'm no expert, but the header is reshaped evidently resulting in more power. You also can't run the fan with it so it wouldn't be a great option for the street. Others may have more specifics, but its not the one included with the R.

I see. Now I remember seeing a comparison video/picture of the headers last week.

No fan (or stock fan) and no rear pegs as the pipe takes up some of that space. Pipe is a bit longer and a bit thicker. From ducati graphs you lose about 15hp below 6m but gain that back above 6 to redline.

Because the fan is removed - yes ducati have labeled it a track only accessory. Haven't dyno'ed it yet but it does look nice and fat ...

aparantly, it s not an offical Alstare/Corse pipe but from a guy who made it in Germany. there are no specifics on to performance yet.. it is 'wsbk' styled - can't call it spec yet - as to the faact that this header runs next to the swingarm instead of through it.. this is because the WSBK carry full width swingarms as the stock ones are considered not stiff enough..

nice! anyone know what "frame" protector/slider is he using?

looks like this sys may get hot[ter] ;)
