Thanks for the offer Daz but I dont buy second hand & besides it's in the current old configuration so I would only be goin backwards :(
 
Probably, but the front subframe/airbox/headstock will mostly likely be carbon fiber like the Ducati’s MotoGP bikes. That should put the 1199R over the $30K mark.

whichever bike is pictured in the photos and videos in this thread real or imagined; the bike that is being referenced in these posts. i know there is maybe some confusion on designation(s) but these 2013s? are certainly slightly different from the base/s/tri we all had to choose from earlier this year. i realise many will appreciate the new specs and options and this isn't a beauty contest but these new bikes....they are not as attractive in the looks category; ymmv. i guess i should wait as see what is actually being sold.
 
If this is the "real Mcoy", I really dislike the brushed aluminum tank - looks like a De Lorean! I love the Corse graphics however.

Not much you can do to make this bike look any better...
 
The bike on the picture appeared on the 2012 EICMA show as a special FIM Superstock ready bike to be used on the race track.
I expect the R version not to have many visual changed from the current models, Panigale/s/tricolore with an exception probably of the exhaust which might have some visual differenves... after all the bike is already a stunner! ;)
