Hi, my name is Dani from Spain, i'm new in the forum, sorry for my english. Anybody has a Ducati 888 or 851?

I have had a few. I had an 888 SPO LTD and an 888 SP5. There is a really good 888 forum on the web run by a nice guy named Marvin.

Hi Sherpa23. Could you measure the distance between the external surface of one of the fender mounts on the right fork leg and the external surface of the same fender mount on the left fork leg?

Many thanks:)

Okay. I am not sure if I know what you mean. I know that English isn't your first language so I have to think about what you're trying to say.

If you mean, bolt to bolt, outside to outside, on the fork legs where the fender attaches, the answer is 215mm. But I honestly might have no clue as to what you're asking.

Hi, thanks. I need this mesure but of the 888/851 forks:

I can get this measurement for you in a few days if you haven't already found it. I have a '93 888 SPO.

Hi, I already got that measurement, but if you can get for me this other, in the low front fender mount in the fork of your Ducati 888, I would really appreciate it.

And if you can, also measure from the front wheel axle to the lower fork fender mount. Many Thanks.

Hello SP04, just took a look at my 1993 888 SPO .. it appears the fork leg is different than what you are showing above. Note that the fender mounting bosses are both on the front side of the fork leg, as shown on the diagram below. It if is still helpful I can try to get some measurements. By the way, your english is better than my spanish!!

Hellos DesmoAndrew, yes I know that the forks legs are diferents. If you can get some measurements I would appreciate it.

Many thanks for the comment about the langages, I'm not sure about it :D.

Here is what the fork leg looks like from the 888 SPO, same fork that was used on the 900SS of that era. The fender mounts seem closer to the fork leg than what you showed.
