Send the 899 invites to the guys/gals on SF's, Monsters, maybe even Multi's. What 1199 owner wants an 899? I was so
confused when this came in the mail. Now, the 1201 invite is understandable. If I only had $65K lying around.

Nothing wrong with getting invitations and free prestige brochures. I got the 918 Porsche invite as well as I previously owned the GT3. Maybe they were hoping I became a millionaire by now. I wish that were true.
It concerns me, the conceitedness of a few 1199 owners getting offended with an invite for the smaller Duc. I personally think those invites were sent in good faith to earn more business. Despite the fact that I think the 1199 can easily double for an 899 simply by putting it into wet mode, I still think that some may want the 899 as a street bike and the 1199 as a track machine. Given this, I don't feel that I'm too good for the 899.
In short, I don't think I'm too good for anything, just grateful to be able to enjoy the 1199- just came back from a night run into the canyons here, so cool! Hopefully someday I will hit the jackpot and buy anything they send me a hardcover brochure on, hehe.
