Had to do a double take on this 2014 helmet they partnered up on together since it is so friggin close to identical to the 2010 Arai they put out when I bought my 1198s Corse! Except for the red/green stripes it looks damn close wouldn't ya say?

Wish they would at least use the high end version of something like the Pista on their stuff since its already a damn grand too! Thank goodness Im not a helmet collector like MarkNYC is, or even some of you others!

Hey, matter of fact - lets see who has the most helmets here on this forum!

Go ahead and post up the number you own - and the most favored of them. Sound cool to you? You can even post a photo of them ALL if you wish, which would be wicked cool to see someone with like 100 or something! (out of my TWO I like the Bell Star better!) lmfao = 2! :eek:

BTW- yeah yeah, I know this crap has already been done somewhere in here I assume, but WTF - nothing else is going on ya know?
Id seriously like to start the Bike of The Month contest like Org does and the winner gets $50 Amazon Gift Card (where that comes from is unknown to me!) :)

my helmet sickness is coming back. anyway here is what i have currently. the bell i ride in the summer with the transition shield. the rf1200 is spring fall and the x12 is track day.
 
i pre ordered this but just canceled because it wont be here till oct and i put my bikes away in nov so it saved me 500 bucks.

others i have had. my favorite helmet was the suomy spec 1 r extream wall st edition. felt like it was custom made for my head but suomy changed their shell shape and its no longer an option. My favorite helmet now is the shoei x12 its the closest fit to the suomy and love the way it feels. A close second is the bell star. i love the features and only helmet i ride in the summer (transition shield and air flow). you can ride all day and night without carrying a shield. It would be number 1 if it fit slightly better but its perfect for the street. my least favorite and yes i have had an rf1000 and have an rf1200 and had a bell rs 1 (i say that because they are allegedly a step down from the premier helmets) is the arai. just doesnt do it for me.

right now i have 3 the ones in the first pictures are the only ones in my closet at the moment but this thread might throw 1 or 2 more . i love the rossi turtle and i love the rossi double face. ( i know i know i dont want to hear it love the way they look) i love the speed machine and green mamba hjc. i would love to try a schburth technology.

JEEZ IM NOT COMING BACK TO THIS THREAD.

I have a ton of helmets as well, but I cannot take pics of them as I'm at work. I have a defense however... I buy lids for my kids and the girlfriend as well.

None of them are as nice as what you guys have... I'm clearly in the wrong career field! :)
 
i have the bell star as well (cerswinke, not carbon) great helmet, well ventilated.

until last saturday i was sporting a white Schuberth S1, which, well, did his job well.

now i have a schuberth SR1 on order, found one for 299 euros, minus 19% Vat, plus 36 Euros shipping. = $350 :D

I wear Large in everything else man.
Also, I can get this for about $950 and wouldn't ask for it less since you are a dealer trying to keep the lights on yourself buddy. Im not even ready to pull the trigger on it at this VERY moment but perhaps when Fall hits us or tax time! :)

Three suomy helmets currently.(SR Sport, Extreme Spec 1R, Vandal)
One Arai that I bought a couple of years ago on sale.(Corsair)
One HJC for winter
One Shoei just to try out the new design(Rf1200)

I'm a helmet hoar.:D

i loved my spec 1r but dont feel the sr sport is the same shape do you agree? suomy is extremely under rated.

I enjoyed my Spec 1R as well.

The SR Sport def. has a different fit(shape) but with the accessory cheek pads I have found it to fit better. It is the first helmet I have ever had that has no/minimal wind buffeting on the track. I just can't explain how stable the helmet is at speed. The air vent closing and opening is weird at first but the airflow is typical Suomy stellar. The fit and finish is to be expected and the price is half what I paid for the 1R.

I chalked it up to being a new helmet but the SR Sport is the best helmet I have ever had. I can't point to one thing it is just better in every way. Pretty much just like the Panigale:D

I do agree that Suomy is under rated and overlooked. OK by me, because I don't want what everyone else has anyway.

Bell star hess - track days
Bell star cerwinski - old race
Agv corse - old track days
Shoei rf1000 strife - old street
Icon airframe - really old street
