So far I have 3 lids. One old Ducati Arai helmet, a Suomy and a Icon. Also had a Caberg helmet but gave it to my son who got my 1098 Ducati as a birthday present and the wifey who has a Caberg.

I have a Bell Star, and my Moto 3 for the dirt bike.

I have a couple of AGV Rossi reps -- the frog and wish you were here
Two shoei's -- the rf1200 and the gt air
Two schuberth s2's -- one good and one crashed
And one brand new Ducati Arai Corsair V

If I'd bought the Arai first I'd probably never have needed any of the others! Except for the crashed schuberth ;) the Arai is PERFECT! Don't know why I waited so long....

I've had my Arai Corsair V for a couple years and love it.

I just bought a Shark and it was uncomfortable at first but one track day and it's broken in and fits much better. It's carbon fiber and is noticeably lighter than the Arai. Like wearing a feather and so far I'm happy with it. The shields are spendy for them but they are twice as thick as the Arai shield.

pista gp project 46 carbon
shoei gt air black
i got 2 atm.

pista gp is my fav. i can sleep on this helmet and it is so light and with ear plug which comes with helmet there is no wind noise issue. by far the best helmet ive ever had in my life.

yeah, the Ducati Corse '14 Helmet design is nice.

Pista is amazing. currently my fav.

i think i have aboot 20 helmets... only racer reps. need to get rid of some. haha

Which shark did you get? Nevermind its Gutlessuntolis lol.. How does it size to Arai?

others i have had. my favorite helmet was the suomy spec 1 r extream wall st edition. felt like it was custom made for my head but suomy changed their shell shape and its no longer an option. My favorite helmet now is the shoei x12 its the closest fit to the suomy and love the way it feels. A close second is the bell star. i love the features and only helmet i ride in the summer (transition shield and air flow). you can ride all day and night without carrying a shield. It would be number 1 if it fit slightly better but its perfect for the street. my least favorite and yes i have had an rf1000 and have an rf1200 and had a bell rs 1 (i say that because they are allegedly a step down from the premier helmets) is the arai. just doesnt do it for me.

Mark - what model is the blue Arai? Is it still available? Matches my Beemer!

Whooohh....easy there... It's the Race R Pro Carbon "WSBK CHAMPION" model. It seemed like the logical choice for my track helmet with the RSV4 :D

Size wise it's a little rounder shaped than my Arai but seems to have a little more space in front of my mouth and nose. It's a tight fit getting in so its not going anywhere and that probably makes it a little quieter too. So far the only thing I don't like is the strap hooks with a magnet but it doesn't always stay there like the snap style on the Arai. I just checked and the weight is said to be 2.75lbs. Now that's light!

I'm seeing guys in this thread with a ton of lids.. In recent years I've had Shoei RF1000, RF1100, Bell Star Carbon (Cerwinske), some random HJCs and 3 Arais.

Right now I have an RF1100 and a Arai Signet Q. I have an extremely narrow and tall head. And of course, the big nose and cro-magnon brow to put the package together. I digress.

So my issue is that to get a snug fit, I wear a small lid and they tend to ride along my jaw line (to the point where my chin strap buckle digs in) and my nose can even touch the front of the bottom of my visor. I'm constantly pushing down on the top of my helmet (looks like I'm signalling police to random cars)...

Enough of the random ugly feature descriptions. Any suggestions on a narrow deep helmet? I would love something as reputable as Arai/Shoei/Bell/Suomi/etc with a low wind noise and possibly built in Bluetooth for street use.
