FYI for everyone about Titanium bolts for this aplication! I will install Spider mount and Podium Racing hardware so to make sure hardware is up to task I contacted manufacturer. Gary at Podium Racing responded fast and with accurate information regarding their hardware for this aplication!
Guys please let's not spread information that is not supported by facts which can be dangerous if used in our aplication. Riding/ racing bikes is already dangerous as it is and we don't need to add to that by using something while assuming it will work. Facts like provided here by Podium are in the end peace of mind which at the racetrack means A LOT!!!
I have and will continue to use their product because of high quality, value and awesome support that they provide to the customer!

This is Gray's response,

We use grade 5 Ti-6Al-4V alloy as it has great mechanical properties, very lightweight, and corrosion resistance. Our suspension bolts will have no issue in your application.

Let’s keep things in context as well. The application is an asymmetrical shear application not a properly designed symmetrically captive shear application. Additionally 6AL-4V grade 5 is a spec but I guarantee you will find a difference in a 6Al-4V G5 sourced from SPS vs one sourced from webuildshit China. If anyone is interested in a fastener nerd fest, I suggest you pick up these 2 books. I have had these books for decades and they cover just about everything you would ever want to know about quality fasteners and proper application. Ask Podium to send you the traceability documentation of their material. Not saying they don’t have it but all certified aerospace Ti ships with paperwork to the mfg. Mettec has a check box on their site that asks you if you want a copy of the paperwork when you order fasteners from them. A decent piece of mind in a critical application.

Your post is exactly what I am talking about, share the info / knowledge that has technical backing not just "I said it's not going to work..."!

As some had mentioned it is not cut and dry when replacing fasteners with different grades and material types. 6AL-4V comes in right under a steel grade 10.9 fastener. Do not replace a 10.9 or 12.9 grade bolt with Titanium. Suitable replacements are grade 5 and grade 8 fasteners.
