Ducati giving owners a hard time?

Ducati Santa Barbara is excellent. Never had any issues with my bike except a bad O2 sensor that was cut while putting on the new Termi CF heat shield. They took me right in and replaced it under warranty. I won't take my bike anywhere else for service.

I am getting dicked around from a dealer for replacement fairing melted from the exhaust , he said I should take it to the dealer that I bought it from. Shouldn't i be able to get it done at any Ducati dealership? I have to take heaps if photos if it before they will replace it. Why the f for as when I get it replaced they will take the faulty part

It seems as though NFI want to see the pics as a prerequisite to being able to justify putting it to DUCATI in Italy for approval.
I'm not sure if this is a world wide policy implimented by DUCATI?

Cheers

Well brought my bike in for the shop to check the dash for the fogging. The shop was able to reproduce the fogging. The shop is 100% behind me. They took pictures and send them off to Ducati for warranty to have it replaced. Ducati has denied warranty claim. I am so pissed off. I am at the point of trading the bike in for another manufacture.

This makes no sense. How can they deny it? Print off the hundreds of examples from this forum, call DNA yourself and ask to speak to a manager and let them know the next phone call will be to your lawyer.
