About the only thing I may trade one of my bikes in on….love my 950 but in an odd category in my garage…a lighter bike with less HP in a comfortable package sounds like a lot of fun.
I hear ya, I would be more interested in the Supermoto version, current Hyper is a fun street bike but this thing looks better suited for an alternate kart track and full circuit duty when chasing my friends that are not on liter bikes.
Meh. Overpriced. They are trying to get the most out of that Superquadro engine r&d. Talk about an ROI. I foresee a parallel twin (a la RS660) in the future developed out of the Desmo Stradale
I'm going to guess my 501 is 60 lbs lighter and I can switch from moto to dual sport in 1/2 hour. honestly the SM wheels are fun but you need really tight roads like in tennessee . SM is all about slower tighter turns and jumping curbs in the city. IMO
It weighs 333lbs and costs 15k . It is probably worth the price , I'd rather have my 501s (250-270) weight but I'm near 55hp so down twenty hp and 50-60 lbs. plus the ducati has suspension meant for the road and geometry to match. the Ducati mono is a canyon carver for sure. anyone who buys this bike is not going to be disappointed. IMO
