Not sure if this is going to be a quick seller or not but I have a headlight from a base 1199 up for sale. It has been lightly in excellent condition and has no damage of any kind. It comes with the headlights and the bulbs.

Lets see $150 shipped ??

base headlights are a strange market

I recently sold two of these headlight (1199 version), one sold for $240 and one for $80. Both were of the same excellent quality, and both within a month of one another.

No reason for the odd sale prices. But regardless, good luck with the sale.

You have to think base headlights are like a base steering damper, or an 899 swingarm or an 899 dogbone link for the suspension.... Its not an "upgrade" as an LED one, or an OHlins Steering damper is, or an 1199 link is with flat AND progressive riding modes. So who is the market?

Maybe they scratched or broke their base headlight in a wreck? Maybe they bought a bike without a headlight and will put one in? THats the only way I see people buying OEM parts such as a base headlight. Me personally I just bought one and paid a little less than OP's asking price which seems fair for what it is.

Assuming you put an LED light in your base, its nice to get even $100 for your base headlight and help offset the costs.

GLWS. Ebay is probably a great place to get this gone.

Hmm, that is quite the price difference !! I just put it up on ebay as well - got a couple of lowball offers. Lets see how it goes.

you're right - there really is not reason for people to buy it unless they wrecked it.
