Ducati Panigale V4?

I hope that's not real, but it does have similar features to the spy shots that have been floating around. Notice the fairing that goes over the frame to the tank (like the new SS).

Didn't the CEO specifically call it a V4 Panigale? If so, it shouldn't be a surprise if it looks very similar to the current Panigale's.

Well, if it is the V4, for me it takes away any of that internal debating on wheather or not to trade my 1299 to get one! More then smitten with my 1299 still.

Why do the guys on the blacked-out test mules always wear the Ducati-branded stuff?

They shouldn't be blacking out any bike or cars in the first place. .... is stupid n doesn't make sense but that's just my opinion.

I haven't purchased a single vehicle (car or bike) based on built up hype. I get the intent behind it all but people are gonna have interest (or lack thereof) in a vehicle regardless if they are disguised before going public. If it's gonna sell, it's gonna sell no matter what. Again, just my negative .02

Maybe Ducati have leaked this to ..... our reaction before final production tooling for the bodywork.

We could all chip in some suggestions and impact the appearance of the next Ducati beauty

I suspect Ducati will play it safe with the looks of the V4 Panigale even though it would be nice to take a risk with a complete new look, they are probably gun shy still from the 999. Probably more of an Superbike evolution.
Having said that I think there are some design features they could introduce without a risk. I think a version of the SL exhaust would be a hit, anything that makes the stance more aggressive. Completely change the rear set design and functionality (Grippy pegs etc). Do something more aggressive but functional with the Mirrors.

Yes I'm sure that's exactly what they did

This one looks pretty legit. I don't hate it, but I don't love it. It probably looks better in person, much like the 1199 did.

I've taken some pretty ...... photos with my iPhone over the years, but never have I accidentally applied a fish-eye lens to a photo of a bike which distorts the shape and makes the wheels not round and forks bent. There is always a "theme" for leaked Ducati pre-release spy photos, surely someone besides me has noticed this over the years.

We have 2 months of this to endure before EICMA....... For reference here was an example of what we were looking at before the 2012 1199 Panigale came out:

That's what I've been saying all along. Couldn't agree with you more

happy Jarel? :D

its still ugly as sin no matter how you capture it, or what lens/filter you use.

and we're specifically responding to the released image -- yes, if the real version is svelte and minimal then we'll all react accordingly.

Nope, now the front wheel looks like it slammed into the back of a Prius! :D
