Electronic Suspension
Thread is a bit old now but the search turned it up.
For those who swap the electronic for manual what are the advantages? Just trying to determine if it's worthwhile for my track outings.
Met a fellow from Boston this week at the Calabogie track here in Ontario, Canada. He had Bitubos fitted to his 13R front (ECH-29) and back (XXF61), along with a lot of other exotic bits. Very nice. Thx, Dave
The 1199 S/R forks have the NIX30 cartridges in them, with electronic adjusters, and "street" valving. The aftermarket NIX30 kits have manual adjusters and come with the "racing" valving in them. The reason Ohlins sells the kit for the 1199 S/R is for this who want to ditch the electronic adjusters for racing purposes and also want the racing valving for the same reason.
